Fruity, Intense and Rich
Characteristics
Following the tradition, this Irancy is made with pinot noir grapes and 5% of César grape, typical from the area (legend says it was the Romans who brought it there..hence the name!). Cesar grape brings body and tanins to the wine.
The nose reveals notes of red smashed fruits (strawberries) and dried plums.
This wine is aged from 2 to 5 years in oak barrels, which results in very soft tannins.
