Aromatic, Fruity and Smooth
Characteristics
A quite unusual Burgundy wine to discover! Indeed, if the area is well known for its Chardonnay or Aligoté... it also has its own Sauvignon Blanc. The small village of Saint-Bris le Vineux is the only place in the whole Burgundy to cultivate the grape.
Saint-Bris reveals beautiful notes of citrus (grapefruits, tangerines) as well as peach and hints of exotic fruits (litchi). This aromatic complexity makes it a fruity, ample, floral and smooth wine.
After a few years in the cellar, aromas will evolved towards jammy / confit fruits notes.
